Flyering

...Here we are flyering on the Royal Mile (top left). It's enjoyable in an odd
sort of way, yet quite boring at the same time. James L thinks it depends on
the day, but I think it's all simultaneous with perhaps a sprinkling of state-of-mind.
"Odd Odd Odd" – James L. But we have most fun when giving
our lectures on the brain (top right). And today we drew diagrams on the street
with chalk (bottom).

And it's all done from the top of our lovely poster-clad stepladder.

When you're at the top, it seems like a long way down. It is a long
way down. And occasionally lovely people come and shake the ladder, believing
themselves to be witty and original.

But more interestingly, up at the top it's really rather serene. You see everything
from a whole new perspective. Literally.

And on reflection, the only time and place you could stand on the top of a
stepladder in the middle of an extremely busy High Street and hardly attract
any attention at all is the Edinburgh Fringe.

So new experiences all round, then.

Hi, guys. I caught your show on Sunday. It was quite funny and I enjoyed it very much. It was actually the last show I saw before I left Edinburgh, and it was a nice way to wrap up my vacation (I flew home to California on Monday).

The Matrix, with pearls. Heh.

by the way, i think i have some as yet undeveloped photos of the non-digital sort if you're interested. there's one of the sea of people on the royal mile where andrew o., the fire juggler and the tron all stand out high above everything.
if it turns out, you're welcomed to a copy.

We always welcome photos of ourselves, Buffy. We are all egotists.

Well, James, I shall require an earth address to send said photos to, or at best a 'cown touncil'.

Do koalas even have a sense of self???!

Ehm, I'm afraid the photos won't be ready for quite some time...In a bit of a rush to pack for various Conference excursions.
Expect something round about October.

Oh, and just out of curiosity, where's St. Ives, Cambridgeshire?
Might be going there in late September for Aikido...
