Not in Wiltshire

Well, the rest of the div has upped sticks and left to Wiltshire.

This is not (only) to get away from me, I am assured.

Whilst they're away from internet access (are they?) I'll be cheeky and advertise the reason for my staying nearer London, which is my involvment in the following show to which you are invited: (I'm not IN the show, as should be obvious from the overlapping dates.)

THE REVENGER'S TRAGEDY
by Thomas Middleton

19th July - 14th August
The Theatre Underground, St Andrew's Holborn Circus, London
nearest tube: Chancery Lane

Nine years ago, the Duke murdered Vindice's fiancee. Vindicee fled. His family fell into porverty, while the Duke, Duchess and their decadent sons acquired wealth and power.

Today Vindice returns.

ColliSion presents a masterpiece of Jacoban theatre in an exciting new space. Fast, funny and very bloody, the Revenger's Tragedy opens up a world of lust and corruption in which nothing is quite as it seems...

Monday to Saturday 8pm
Tickets £12.50/£9.50 concession
Previews 19th & 20th July: £5

My absence from rehearsal yesterday was obviously missed, I am an expert (if I do say so myself) in leaf tea.

Not quite all the rest of the Div have gone to Wiltshire to bask in pastoral bliss. I'm still in Cornwall. Today I went to Falmouth and saw some boats.

this member of the Div _is_ in Wiltshire, has noticed this cheeky plug, is hopping mad. Like Premier Kissov in Dr Strangelove.
