April 23, 2005Election gripeIt's all very well being able to vote for a Parliamentary MP, but let's face it we all know it's a rubbish system. We want to be able to vote for a Prime Minister. And I would go a step further: I would like to be able to vote for the Prime Minister's wife as well. If I remember rightly, William Hague also has an attractive blonde wife. AND Ian Duncan-Smith. That is to say, IDS has got a pretty spouse too. What is it about these Tory leaders?
