Bad idea?

I just got an email from Make Povery History with the heading "Tell Jack Straw to act".

What a good idea. Nobody likes Jack Straw as a politician, but if he became an actor I have a feeling he'd soon be in the running for a part in the fifth Harry Potter film. After all, we enjoyed his villainy in children's TV series The Demon Headmaster, and after the last decade of labour government he's had plenty of chances to practice being even more repugnantly evil. I for one would pay very good money to see Jack Straw play any of the following roles:

Richard III
Professor Higgins
The Master (he has to return to Dr Who sooner or later)
Hitler (now that Michael Sheard is no longer with us)
Captain Hook
Judas
The narrator in The Rocky Horror Show
Dracula
Mephistopheles
The Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The more I think about it the more I think he'd actually be phenomenal in these roles, and many more. So can I also urge you to tell Jack Straw to act at the soonest possible opportunity - I'm going to.

He's reminded me of the Demon Headmaster for AGES.
