Wagner vs Glass

I have nothing to write about really, except that my fans demand a diary entry and without my fans I am nothing.

Rehearsals this week have been very interesting - occasionally in slow motion, sometimes with repetition and once palendromically. We have also produced many fine pictures. Unless somebody manages to get them up on the website, you will have to image for yourselves what a fine work of art "Pause of Nancy" must have been. Or my favourite, "Fury on Chris Three".

This very morning myself and Andrew O improvised an argument in song between Richard Wagner and Phillip Glass about how an opera should be written. Needless to say, the music was horrible and they were both wrong.

Everyone seems to be improvising a rock opera behind me, and I am desperate to join in, so will stop writing henceforth.

Hi There. I also am a fan of James Lark. I have enjoyed him on a number of occasions and his performances are always excellent. I first loved him two years ago in the ADC Theatre. It was a comedy I think. I love his lean frame and wiry strength. I like also his quickness of tongue. I cannot wait to see the great manhood on stage again. Please keep me filled James, I would like to know what you are doing. My favourite show of yours was when you grew a beard.

Much love

Gunter

i have wondering if such a society or organism for the fans of james lark is able to join or on the web. i have been since james lark performed in his spectacular "abba medley" in kuala lumpar back over two years this summer and would love to hear more and whether he is available to be contacted with the internet. does he have a website that i can inspect. when is he next in kuala lumpar.

Hopefully we'll be able to get some of the pictures up once we settled down in Edinburgh ...

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for your lovely comments - it's always great to hear from my fans, as it helps me to know what you want to see more of! I will of course be posting more diary entries - thankyou for asking, "A Fan" - perhaps you could leave your name next time, so that I have a better idea of who I'm talking to, what gender you are and whether I'd be interested in pursuing a more significant relationship with you.

Yes, I enjoyed the one where I grew a beard as well, Gunter! (Oedipus, 2002) I'm so glad you enjoyed it, it's always great to know that what I'm doing has brought pleasure to at least one person.

I'm afraid, in answer to Li' Ho's enquiry, there is as yet no official James Lark website. I'm sure there are many hundreds of unofficial ones if you look. In the mean time, you might like to check out the official website of Alan Rickman - I am not Alan Rickman, but I have done many similar things to him, our acting styles are remarkably close and in many ways I'm just like him.

Thank you everyone, you make the whole thing worthwhile.

While in no way could I be described as a fan of James Lark, I have been following his career with mild disinterest for some time now. I'm currently a student at Essex University and I am working on a third year thesis about semantic and pronunciation perversion as exemplified by Anthony Windram. I would be interested for any help with sources that Mr Lark could provide regarding this under-rated titan of post-war British theatre.
