improvised theatre

To all appearances...

This morning on GMTV an American actor called Aaron Eckhart (don’t worry, you’re not meant to have heard of him) was interviewed. Asked to comment on some of the more famous actresses he has worked with, he smiled and said “Well, Uma Thurman, Gwyneth, Rene…they’re all real attractive women. They’re famous for a reason.”

I am sure that Uma, Gwyneth and Rene would be thrilled at this view that it’s entirely due to their physical appeal that they’ve done so well in the acting world.

It made me wonder whether the success experienced by the Uncertainty Division last year was merely the result of the beauty of its cast. If this was the case, things already look hopeful for this year’s show – for, if it is possible, it boasts an even more attractive cast than before. Of course, those who made it so beautiful to look at last year remain, but for all of my own androgynous allure it is a delight to finally have some genuine feminine charm in the Division again.

Welcome back, Phil Stott.
