Relaxing evening

There is little to add to James' analysis of yesterday, except to say that he makes my journey to Halesworth sound far easier than it was. If you have ever been standing on a deserted railway station at eight in the morning after a mere four and a half hours' sleep, rain pissing down, and no train due for two hours, then you'll have an idea of one of the high points of my day. I was still travelling eleven hours later and at that stage had still only eaten a crayfish wrap because the train I was on wasn't serving food ("apologies for any inconvenience..." Ta, I could have starved to death!)

But the show entirely made up for it, and almost made the further two hours of travel reserved for the remainder of the day bearable.

This afternoon we rehearsed, and planned for a relaxing evening. Alas, our relaxing evening deteriorated into a huge arguement about the merits (or lack of) of Harry Potter. Strong words were used and voices were used, and it was only my timely action of putting on Casino Royale that averted war.

I won't tell you who was for and who was against J. K. Rowling's overrated tripe. You can try to guess.
